Lace & Babydoll Tunic

The thing I love about fashion is that it can go so many different ways. You can pair so many different items with so many OTHER different items ;) It's like music...so many different songs are made, yet it's all just music! Anyways, I'm going to start coming up with ways to share an item or 2 from my store and showing you different ways to wear it without having to spend too much money!

Let's start with the "Sage & Lace Babydoll Tunic". Now seemingly, this might seem like a boring top to some of you BUT it's anything but! ;) Below is a photo and link of the top and then below it are different pairing options that will work for just about every body type!

Sage & Lace Babydoll Tunic
Pair this adorable top with a pair of faux leather leggings and some booties. The two types of styles / fabrics make this outfit really pop and makes it more "one of a kind"...like you! ;)
Here are some options for what I'm talking about (ps I will have some in my store in a week or so..I'll update this blog post with a link when they're in!)

 Faux Leather Leggings

Add these "Bridgette Booties" to tie in the color of the leggings or the "Distressed Suede Booties" to tie in the colors of the top! With either bootie, you might want to roll the bottom of the leggings (just once or twice depending on their length) up in a "messy" type of way.

NOW, I know that faux leather leggings freak some of you out and that's ok! Pair this with some cropped skinnies like the one's below! I'd go for more of a darker color, or even a distressed pair. These cuties are from Target for under $30!

There are a few other ways this top can be styled, but these are the 2 easiest that come to mind given the winter season. These 2 bottoms will also go well with SO many other tops, so for between $30-$40 you can have a pair of super versatile pants that will go with so much! AND for under $100 you can have an entire outfit with different pieces that can be worn tons of different ways!

Yay for shorts weather!

Well, the warmer weather is definitely upon us here in Houston, however there are some chilly days / evenings here and there. Long sleeves and shorts are an easy combo for this kind of weather! Either of these outfit combinations are "non matchy" (which makes them cute), easy, and fun! They can be considered dressy or not depending on what shoes you'd choose to pair them with (wedges, sandals...you catch my drift). Comfort is key when dressing cute (at least to me) and all of these items are definitely that!

Sunny Days Ahead

These 4 maxi's are great for summer holidays, summer weddings, summer vacations, or just to wear around town! You can layer the blue and palm printed maxis with a lace bralette or bandeau top or throw a jean jacket over any of them to add a little something extra. They're just long enough for wedges and short enough for flat sandals. You can never go wrong with an easy-to-wear maxi dress in summer time!

Lace My Bell Bottom Boho Pants

Please excuse my awesome modeling skills, but as soon as I saw these, I had to whip 'em out of the box and post a picture of them IMMEDIATLY! Not only are they darling, but they're super soft and comfortable (but not too soft to where you see all those lovely rimples and dimples most of us have in the tush area ;). Some of you may not like your pants this long, but since these are bell-bottoms, I happen to love it! Mainly because I can wear wedges and they fall over the shoe perfectly really accentuating that 70s/boho look! When I tried these on I just happened to be wearing a loose fitting white tank top from Target - similar here -, but I think next time I will pair this with a loose v-neck tucked-out. With pockets, lace, tie-dye, and comfort, you can't go wrong with these pants for spring and summer!
